Dr. Betty Shabazz delta academy

Females - Ages 11 to 14

A monthly program to augment scholarship in math, science and technology, as well as opportunities to provide service in the form of leadership through service learning defined as the cultivation and maintenance of relationships. A primary goal of the program is to prepare young girls for full participation as leaders in the 21st century. Click HERE to apply.

Delta GEMS

Females - Ages 14 to 18

A monthly program created to help catch the dreams of African-American at-risk, adolescent girls. Delta GEMS provides the framework to actualize those dreams through the performance of specific tasks that develop a CAN DO attitude. GEMS is an acronym for Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully.

EMBODI

Males - Ages 13 to 17

EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) is a monthly program designed to refocus the efforts of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, with the support and action of other major organizations, on the plight of African-American males. EMBODI is designed to address issues through dialogue and recommendations for change and action.

Murray-Freeman memorial scholarship

The scholarship program was established to recognize academic excellence and to provide financial assistance to African-American high school seniors in the Fairfield County area entering a 4-year, fully accredited college or university.
